Bastards @ dealership scratched my paint
When I got my AC vents fixed on Monday, they washed my car like they normally do when you have it serviced.
Normally I like that, but the ******'s scratched my hood when they dried it!
The morons use a chamois to dry the cars, which I hate. I never let one of those things touch my car. I know they were the ones who scratched it, because it goes right along with the SWIRL MARKS that are now all over my car. I always dry in a back and forth pattern and I only use The Absorber. My car was swirl-free before Monday. I will definitely be taking my car back and complaining.

I'm going to say, "I wash dry my car in a back and forth motion so I don't get swirls. I now have swirls (which I wouldn't care about if it wasn't for that scratch), and as you can see that scratch goes right along with the swirls. I know I'm being nitpicky, but what are our options here?"
Also, I found a TSB for my squeaky clutch (thanks to ak), so maybe they'll get it -fixed- this time instead of just lubing it and saying that's all they can do.

It's going to be hit or miss with the dealer doing something about the scratch.
I took my accord in to have the factory spoiler installed only to notice a nice ding in the trunk lid right below it. I called back that day and after a few secs of pissyness, they agreed to fix it.
I ding is a lot cheaper to fix than a scratch if it is deep.

Check out my thread about the permanent marker...only try if you are willing to take the risk...it might not work.
Anyway i used a permanent marker on some BIG scuff marks way bigger than your line.. and they came out. I waxed out the marker and to my surprise it was just like normal.

At least they didn't spill gas all over the back seat and hope you wouldn't notice! That's what happened to me when they replaced my fuel pump, which still isn't working right.
