Strange sound from Car, please help

Strange sound from Car, please help
Ok,
I have 25k miles on a 03 civic.
Last weekend, the car startted producing a loud whine from the engine, at around 95mph, it now does this at 85mph, when i hit those speeds the loud whine starts and gets louder as i press the gas.
I have an 300 watt amp and a sub, thats it
what do i do, is this the alternate whine? i hear about,
what should i do?
should i take out the system before i bring it to the dealer?
please help.,
