sqeaking coming from belt in engine
when i first start my car, there is a big squeaking noise coming form the belt under the hood, but when the car is warmed up i dont hear it anymore, i called honda and made an appointment for next week but i gotta leave my car all day and i dont feel like doing that, is there any way i can fix it myself
i got 16k miles, and it is like a whisteling/squeaking sound
its the belt to the right of the engine, the one thats in on top thats visible, i think its the timeing belt, i dunno, dont know anything about belts

Could be the power steering belt. Its the thinner belt thats further away from the engine then the other belt. If its not tightened correctly then it can squeek. If your not certain on how to properly tighten the belt, take it to a pro. This is assuming its this belt causing the problem..
