Question Horn/SRS/electrical?

The horn on my 2k1 civic ex does not work anymore. The SRS light is also on, and i know that deals with the airbags but i wonder that the 2 problems are related. are they? what are some problems that make the horn stop working? the horn sounds when i push the panic button on the remote entry key but not when i just hit the horn from inside the car. i have looked at fuses. also, the headlights work off and on. are all these problems related?

Look at the fuse panel under the steering wheel. Check and make sure that are not intermittent working.

Take it to the dealership. What you may have is a loose wire harness in the steering column. If it's disconnected, or partially, the horn and SRS control wires may be disconnected, and the lights may be partially connected, like it's hanging loose or something. Thing is, if you just plug it back in, if this is the problem, the sudden voltage jump may set off your airbags (I've heard of stuff like this happening before) then you're SOL.
