No Start No obd2
No Start No obd2
Chasing down what i think is a electrical problem. 2013 Honda civic fails to start. Engine Cranks good and checked for spark which was fine. When trying to plug into the obd2 port i found a error stating no ECU found. The obd scanner is Bluetooth and getting power from the obd2 fine making me think its not a blown fuse. Anyone have any ideas where to look next? Is it possible a short on some sensor somewhere is causing the no start and obd2 to fail? Also the fuel pump is pumping what is the easiest way to check if the injectors are getting fuel and working? Thanks.
Re: No Start No obd2
Had same issue on a 2002. I left the ground wire to the head disconnect (not sure if this is your issue)
test the basics
-grounds
-relays
-fuses
You'll always have power to obd2 scanner, the power wires to the obd port are a separate circuit then the power to ecu.
