Wheel Bearing Problem - Honda Civic 2007
Hi, I just had a rear wheel bearing (on the passengers side) replaced. A brake job was done at the same time (rear brakes only). Before the replacement there was a low humming noise coming from the rear passengers side. Now I have a loud humming noise coming from the front passenger side only one day after I had the rear bearing replaced. The thing is there was no noise coming from the front at all before this work was done. I'm not sure if I should return to this mechanic. This is my first and only experience with him. Hoping folks on here can give me some feedback on this so I can make a more informed decision as to what to do next. Thanks!

I would take it back and have him look it over. The sound could also have been there prior to the work but now you can hear it better because the other stuff got fixed.

Thanks, I'm considering it. The mechanic also said something odd he said that my rear brake drums were two different sizes. I'm starting to think that maybe the brake job he did is what is causing the noise.
