Talking 2014 1.8L Spark Plugs

What is the best time to change plugs while the car is hot or cold? Also, what is a good quality of plug to use in the 1.8L Civic? Thanks ahead for the feedback!!!

do it cold. Hot, metal expands, and different metals expand at different rates. It'll make it hard to remove the spark plugs. Good quality plug: NKG or Denso, for sure.

Mechanics (shops) do them hot as they don't have time to let them cool down but I always do them cold since cold won't burn me

Yes NGK or Denso is always the best choice. Also no anti seize on NGK as they have a coating on them already.

You got 100,000+ miles on it already?

Don't complicate the job, use the exact same plugs the factory installed.
