Question Tire shine products...

I have tried the whole package from Eagle One, their tire shine products, but after a few days, the sidewalls turn a nasty brown, and it looks really bad, also it runs all over the rims. Just wondering what the best stuff out there for keeping the sidewalls of tires shiny and wet looking?
Also, what's a good product for cleaning brake dust off of rims? Thanks.

BRAKE DUST...i use 'hot rims' during the wash and then wax the rims

TIRE SHINE...i use the tire gel from meguires with the tire applicator and then after about 2-3 days, i just use the applicator again to 'revive' the shine...one application will last me about 3 weeks...

Ok great thanks, so waxing the rims really works eh? Hmm...

And does that stuff for the tires turn brown and nasty after a while or after a heavy rainfall (as we get a lot here on the East coast).

Yeah I'll probably go with Meguiars, that or Mothers, they're both good for car care products.

Well the stuff I was using was in a Windex style spray bottle, not an aerosol can. I will probably go to the applicator style, just because it is less messy.

I've found that the shine in the aerosol cans sling back all over the sides of your car. Meguires seems to do the trick for me and it lasts the longest. Only downside is that it is pretty messy.

Yeah, I'll just get the stuff in the bottle, the non-spray type.

For the people that recommended the Meguiars products, is it:

Endurance High Gloss Tire Gel

OR

Meguiar's Endurance

i use meguirs hot shine hot wheel tire spray, shines for a at least a few days and doesnt change colors, i dont think it stays during the rain tho, might.. i haven't checked, haha

edit: heard it doesn't leave any residue or anything, u just spray with the adjustable nozzle, then wipe the extra off and keeps it looking black.

For my tires I use 303... its supposed to be for interior use but it works great on tires plus if there is any still on the tire when you start to move it wont leave those black marks. It works GREAT! For clean the wheel and break dust I think its called Grease Lighting or Tire Lighting or something.. its a black bottlle with a lighting bolt and somem wheels haha, looks cheesy but works

I use the typical spray that cleans and shines is one step. Never had a problem with it going everywhere. I just wipe the rim with a terry cloth after I spray it.

Once that dries, I will usually apply meg's endurance gel with an applicator. It last for a couple weeks but always spins off all down the car. I have dried wiping the excess off with a towel, not using as much.....I just wipe the car off on the sides where it spins off for a few days.....They all spin off if you ask me...well, never really had a problem with the all-in-one spray deals..

i use eagle 1 with a applicator which puts it on real well, but doesn't last long enough for me. probably gonna try the gel with applicator.

I use Meguires Endurance. It works the best out of all the products that I have used. If you want an even slicker look, buy some Black Magic Tire Gel (silver tinted) and put that on your tires; then, a couple hours later rub on the Meguires Endurance. It makes the tires look awesome in the sun.
