hi
i just found out that there was a marking on my moms rear bumper located to the right. what should i use to take it out ??

WOW Does the scratch go down to the primer? I have one that goes past the priner into the plastic.

You could try some Meguairs Scratch X first then if that does not work, VERY LIGHTLY try to buff the mark with some rubbing compound but if you use too much it will remove the clear coat and then you will have more problems. After the scratch is out coat it with some wax too.

Try a swirl reducer(clear coat safe) first to see if you can remove most of the scratches. Try it on the bumper first to see how it works. I have a dark burgandy metallic finish on my truck that someone scratched in the shop and twice a year I use a swirl reducer and then wax. It's difficult to see unless you really look for it.

thanks guys i'll head out to walmart or discount auto parts on friday to purchase either meguire's swirl remover (tan bottle) or 3m's swirl mark remover (black bottle).

ExRacer haven't talked to you in a while, but my 93 accord is going good i just got the fmax turbo installed and maybe even have a buyer for the car.
