Cleaning Dash

I had a hands free cell phone kit in my car, u know the one were the phone is on a base, and the sound come out there, and u stick a mic on your dash and u talk without holding the phone, anyways i brock the base, so i got ride of it. the mic was stuck on my dashboard just behind the steering wheel. i took it of, but the sticky stuff stayed on there. how do i get ride of it, what chemical is safe to use on my dash for cleaning that sticky stuff off?

Windex is safe for cleaning on the dash. Try that either w/ papertowels or a diaper cloth (smooth one).

DO NOT USE WINDEX FOR CLEANING YOUR DASH, IT HAS THAT AMONIA (CAN'TSPELL) IN IT AND IT WILL DRY OUT YOUR DASH....IT IS LIKE PUTTING IT ON YOUR PAINT, IT WILL EVENTUALLY FADE...I USED TO WORK DETAIL AT HENNESSY HONDA IN GEORGIA AND WHAT YOU REALLY NEED ON YOUR DASH IS SOMETHING CALLED ECLIPSE... CARBRTIE MAKES IT...call your local honda dealership and ask for the detail dep. and ask what company they use to supply their detail products and then call them. Ask them what they think that you should use on your car what you are trying to detail...

GooGone or Aftalyne. After you wipe off the glue you are going to wat to protect that spot with a good interior dressing....You might as well do the whole dash because it will look better that way. The googone or the Aftalyne will dry out the surface
