automatic car washing that spray under your car....

I know this belongs in "car detail" section, but I just needed a quick answer.

this question goes to everyone that has a CAI

is it okay to run our cars through the automatic car washes? I know that many
of them have the undercarriage car wash (washing under your car)

would that be harmful to our engines since it'll be spraying right at the CAI?

thanks!

I shut off my engine anyhow if I take it through...at least it makes me feel like I'm safeguarding the intake

Yeah, make sure you let your engine run any time that water touches the inside of the engine bay...that way it can dry off well and avoid any problems...
