scratched hood

Ok, I was at school today in the parking lot and this kid I know comes up and was joking around and wiped the hood of my dusty car with one of those gas station squeegees and now there are a bunch of hairline scratches in my hood. How should I go about resolving this? I washed the car and polished out a majority of the little scratches... but they did not all come out. I'm really pi$$ed right now and I'm ready to go fight him, but I know I shouldn't do that. So what should I do?

Yeah, he will pay for any and every penny I spend making the car look as good as it did before. I'm willing to bet I'm the only one who notices the scratches, but thats enough for me to fight. After he pays, we will throw down. I told him four times to get away from my car. I'm thinking getting the scratches out won't be the hard part, the hard part will be not punching him in the face when I see him tomorrow morning.

And sorry I posted in the wrong forum, I figured this would be along the same lines as DING KING... but you didn't move that here.

Same problem, different situation on a black car... What exactly does a sealer and glaze do? I'm interested in getting whatever it takes to get out the scratches... I was even thinking about a whole new paint job, but thats just the Icee talking...

My problem is fixed now. Wash your car. Dry it with a real chamois. Then get your arm ready, coz its gonna be sore after polishing all the scratches out. I am happy to report that all of the scratches came out. Well, I swear I can sometimes see one or two, but its probably all in my head. No one else can see them. If that doesn't work, try the sealer and glaze. I also got some good hits on the kid who scratched my hood. I guarantee he won't touch my car again. Thats all the advice I have to give you.
