drive thru car wash--
drive thru car wash--
Well, heres the deal. I just recently moved into the dorms for my first year of college! Anyways, I no longer have a driveway to wash my car in and I figured I would probably try to find a good drive thru car wash to use. I found a pretty nice place seems to do a very good job and takes good care of the car, and its a touchless car wash. I wanted to know if there is anything I should look for? Any suggestions on how I can keep my car clean now that I am at school? I don't think there is any covered parking available for students so I don't think thats an option. Any help would be appreciated. BTW - I'm at the University of Oklahoma, in Norman Oklahoma now in case somebody knows of a good car wash place around here . Thanks in advance! one of the reasons i left my college was cause the city it was in was a damn ghetto. a group of 12 yr old black wannabe thugs threw a pie at my window...it was the only time since i got my car that i took it to a carwash

Instant Detailer.
PS- Ask the dorm if they have a hose spicket available outside the building... usually they do. Ask them if you can use it.

I don't live in the dorms at my school, but i do know we have a place to wash cars at. Look around a little bit and you might find one. What i would look for when you go is see if anybody with lowered cars go there. They run the car on some kinda track to make it go through the wash and your car may be too low to run on it. At least thats what i've been kinda scetchy about here lately.

Try and find one of those do-it-yourselfers and bring along a soft washmitt...I know most of them don't like people doing that, but who cares right? Those are esp good for getting dirt and crap out from underneath the car and wheel wells....

yeah i go to one with the bays that you can pull your car into, and then i wash it by hand. just bring my bucket and rag along. i think most are cool with it as long as they dont have other people waiting to use the bay.

I am in the same situation and well I just go to the self wash places... 1.50 for three and a half minutes of spraying time... variable between presoak, water, wax, soap brush, high pressure wax, and dry. I just sprayed my car for the three minutes clean. Then I used a water blade, wax wipes, tire shine, and other shiat. I recomend that and when you go home wash and wax the hell outta your car.
