So Aprill 11th I took delivery of my new 2018 Civic SI sedan in bright red. I keep it in a garage, and since this is my 1st new car in 12 years I want to keep it looking like new as long as possible. Anyway, I ordered a "foam canoe" from Amazon for $16.00. Tried it yesterday afternoon and was very pleased with the results. Now the car was covered in tree pollen, and then had been lightly rained on, leaving a blochy surface. I used the foam cannon with my pressure waser, and it covered the car in a thick white foam (used chemical guys foam wash x 2 oz's). Let it sit for a few minutes and then used the pressure washer to spray it off. Worked great! Foam got all of the pollen off with no scrubbing, or even use of the wash mitt. Dryed it off, then using my air compressor, blew out all the cracks, cleaned the inner door panels and sills, then finished with a microfiber towel to get off any lint from the towels. Looks just like new again! When I went running this morning, and had my car parked under a streetlight at the "track" I got to admire it every lap. Shines like the little jewel it is. Next wash I'll clay bar her and add it's 1st coat of wax. Love the looks of this car!!
