Clean Bird Droppings of Car Daily

Hi all,

My car sits outdoors at work all day under trees. Often, though not always, there are bird droppings at the end of the day on the hood, car roof and the windows.

Is there a recommended cleaner and towel that would be best to do this daily or as needed? I don't want to wait til the end of the week for the weekly washing. Even after just a few hours of sitting on the paint, there are faint shadows on the paint after I wipe them off the car.

I have been using a detailing cleaner that is just for light waterless cleaning along with a paper towel though I try really hard to be gently and let the cleaner soak in.

However, I am uncomfortable with the paper towel fearing I may scratch the paint.

Any ideas?

Lorrie

Bird soup or stop parking under trees? Clear coat is pretty hard. Just make sure the towel is wet and lay it on the spot for a little soak before wiping. Like they teach you in baby 101 in high school.

I may look for another parking. That would reduce the problem greatly. Fortunately it doesn't happen often but when it does, it can last for several days til the birds move on.

It never occurred to me to me to wet the paper towel. Thanks for you help.
