Try doing a search in the General Ramblings forum. There's been a few posts within the last 2 weeks or so. One was named "Everyone else is doing it" or something.

How do you take out the air vents on teh sides to paint them???

My vents aren't painted, they have brushed aluminum pieces stuck on, but I have removed them...

Get a flathead screw driver and place a cloth over the end of it. Slip it behind the vent and GENTLY pry it outward. be very careful not to pry too hard... you don't want to dent or scratch your dash. Start near the top or bottom (doesn't matter) on one side. once you can get a hold with a couple of fingers, pull. It pops right out...
