Rep Power: 0 Newspaper for drying
Today I was washed my car, I wash it regularaly but today I had a particular problem with drying today, water spots everywhere! so I used my terry clothes but I hate all the little white fibers they leave, drives me crazy trying to get them off. so I went inside and got this morning newspaper, I rewashed the car and then I layered the newspaper onto the surface, when I took it off it looked great! I was so surprised, I'm sure its been done before and it looks really ghetto whent he newspaper is on there but it absorbed all the water, left no streaks, left no little fibers. Just don't try rubbing, just apply to surface, if you rub with the newspaper on the paint it leaves streaks. Try rubbing on the windshields- streak free. later guys

Rep Power: 0 eh, no, do not use the newspaper as a wiping tool on paint, simply use it as a layer process, on glass however it is totally safe to wipe and what not. Do not try this before having your paint waxed within the last 3 months or less is my opinoin, it's worked fine for a while, this is just the first I've been posting, later- joe

Rep Power: 0 I worked at a tint shop and all we used on the windows was newspaper. It works great no streaks and compleatly safe. I wouldn't use it on paint at all. You dont know the chemicals that might be in the ink and what they might do to your clear coat!!!

Rep Power: 0 Dont use anything other than 100% Terry cloth towels or a Genuine Chamois towel to dry your paint.. An old myth about newspaper for drying is only for windows...
