Help-how do i get road pebbles out?

I bought the mother's clay bar system-claybar, quikdetail lubricant, and some b.s. cleanerwax. Well, i thought that this would remove the little tiny black road pebbles from my white car, but the clay bar really didn't do anything for me. I read directions and i'm pretty sure i was using it correctly. So i did the mequair's 3 step system, cleaner, polish and wax, took about 5 hrs and just hid the problem. But next time i clean/wax i want to get rid of these little road pebbles, they seem to be imbedded into the paint, mind you they're very small, but you can notice them up close. I'm sure you all have them and if you have a light colored car, you know what i'm talking about. Does anyone have any suggestions/info on getting these little suckers out with minimal damage?

Try using Turtle Wax Polishing Compound, just do it sparingly and several thin coats of it. Just be careful because too much could dull the it. Just very, very thin spreads.
