My Plan With The PC7424
EDIT: Scroll down for pics!
So I ordered this kit from autogeek this morning.
It comes with the following Lake Country Pads:
-1 Orange Cutting Pad
- 2 White Polishing Pads
- 3 Gray Finishing Foam Pads
This is my plan:
1) Wash with Dawn to remove old wax
2) Clay entire car
3) Wash with NXT soap
4) Use Meguiars #9 Swirl Remover with the orange cutting pad
5) Buff off with a microfiber towel
6) Use Meguiars #7 Glaze with the gray finishing pad
7) Buff off with microfiber towel
8) Apply NXT tech wax with another finishing pad
9) Buff off with microfiber towel
How does this plan sound? And what am I supposed to use the white pads for?

Congrats on the purchase. Your plan sounds good. The white pad has really light cutting power. It is used for applying polishes. I personally would apply the #7 with a white pad myself but honestly, I'll don't think it'll make that much of a difference versus using the gray. In anycase, goodluck.
congrats on your purchase, more people on here should order one. you won't regret it! it's an absolute must in any detailing arsenal, imo.

^^ very true. Just use a quality car wash soap, meguiars makes plenty, and the clay bar will get any old wax and surface contaminates. Let me know if you need any help or have any questions, i have the 7336 and im in OKC too.
Not bad, not bad at all. I would use the finest polishing pad for the glaze, but it prob wont matter that much. i also use dishwashing detergent every so often to get everthing off quickly, but it is not the wised thing to do. I am going to get the pc DA with in the next month, mayne two weeks
I have a black car with some swirls and have a plan of myself. Check it out:

I prefer to use Meguiars products personally. Wash, clay, wash, #83 dual action cleaner polish, #80 speed glaze, #7 show car glaze, 2 coats of NXT liquid wax. I did the whole car, took about 9 hours start to finish with a break to eat. Im kind of a detail freak. (no pun intended)
The NXT needs to set up I thought?
Check out my thread on my ULTIMATE PLAN!LOL
Oh yeah, great job BTW! Looks amazing!

I let the NXT sit for 3 hours after removing the excess because I was at my girlfriends parents house and couldnt wait any longer (I didn't include that in my 9 hour time). You dont have to wait, but for best results you should wait up to 12 hours before the second coat. Thanks for the compliment.
what you do is.... print out this 20% coupon from home depot and then take it to lowes and they will honor it as a competitor's coupon. now there is no reason why anyone shouldn't go get a pc today, i say!
