RAIN-X on tint

can you use rain-x no fog on the inside of a window that has been tinted??? my windows tend to fog alot and i need to know how to fix this

is rain-x ammonia free? if it has ammonia then ur answer is no, its not safe on tint

i knowe ammonia is bad for it, but n e thing else bad for tinting?

i think ive heard someone refer to it as a good anti-fogger for the inside... but ive never used it so i realllly wouldnt know [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

They made a separate rain-x to prevent fogging... haven't tried it yet. Is it good, anyone?

yeah... i put some on the shower mirror back at my hometown... i'm glad y'all reminded me! I thought it was such a good job before i can't believe i forgot.

EDIT: Yes, there is a difference... there is an anti-fog version of rain-x

I just picked up some of those new wipe things, you know that come out like baby wipes, that clean and put the anti-fog stuff on in one step. My windows are also tinted so I only did the windshield. It is crystal clear but haven't had a chance to test out the fog resistance yet. Only drawback is having to buff the window but most people do that anyway to get it perfectly, crystal clear.
