wax used at car washes
I recently received a bunch of car wash gift certificates for a wash and wax. The wax is Blue Coral and supposedly it lasts 30 days. Since I'm not paying for these washes I'm thinking of doing the car wash wax during the winter (because I also get an undercarriage wash, rust inhibitor, and some wheel shine stuff) and then in the warmer weather washing and waxing it by hand.
Can anyone see any problems with this? Any suggestions are welcome.

It is free, but I am always wary about car wash places and what they use. They don't care about what is best for your car. What matters to them is what fits their buisiness model, which means they will use whatever they can get in bulk, at the cheapest price=profit.
So keep that in mind....
During the winter, I pay the honda dealer 160 bucks to have it professionally detailed. During the summer, I will do it myself.

I have used blue coral wax before and it is okay. I thought road salt was illegal because it rusts out the bottom of cars. I live in WA st. and they dont use it here just sand. If they use road salt where u live, i fell sorry for ya, cause it will eat your car apart.
