I have been using Four Star Bazooka for people that want really shiney tires and Poorboy's Bold N Bright for those that want the lesser shine look.

I scrub tires with car wash soap and brush first. Then spray on some No touch wet n' protect because it contains NO petrollium distillates that would otherwise ruin tires.

civicdude will become famous soon enough
I wash the tires with simple green or Mean green. I also do the wheels and the wheels wells at the same time.

After they have dried I rub on some MIDNIGHT BLUE DRESSING by MALCO. You can use it on wet tires and dry tires. You wont get any water beading on the tires either.

When I detail cars, I spray this on the inside of the wheel wells, because some of my customers like it

I bought some Turtle Wax platinum tire shine ****. I will be using this for a while, I am very happy with it. Much better than black magic or armor all

With the NXT insane shine, i let it dry some then put a second layer on it for even coating. My tires were still shiny after 3 days of rain. Great stuff.

i now also like the nxt tire coating. at first... i didn't like it because it would sling all over. now... i apply it, let it sit for about five minutes and then take a tire swipe and spread it around evenly. haven't really had any sling after doing so, and i've driven through water, etc.... this is one that will be in my arsenal along with a few others i continuously use.

Meguiars NXT Insane Shine, the only Shine i will ever use, Autozone stopped stocking it so now I have to drive to Wal-Mart and get it. Not sure why Autozone is slowly going away from NXT products. They used to carry everything, now all they have is the Spray Wax, they carry the other brand of Meguiars stuff. Ahh who knows.
