Rep Power: 0 Removing Dealer Stickers
Just wondering whats the best way and safest way to remove the dealer stickers on the back on my car? It's not on the glass, it's on the body. I would like them removed, I bought a 16,000 buck car from them, I don't think I need to adv they're name "Jay Wolf" and have those ugly *** letters on my body. hehe
I've been told a few things but I don't want to put anything on the body of my car that I risk messing up my paint job.
Thanks,
~fog~

Rep Power: 0 dude, just heat it up with a hair dryer and peel it off. if it leaves in residue, use some WD40 and it will come off. wash the car afterwards and you are all set.

Rep Power: 372 DO NOT PUT A RAZOR BLADE TO THE PAINT OF THE CAR...WHAT ARE YOU CRAZY. Use a hairdryer or heat gun to heat the stickers up and then use your finger to peel the sticker off. You can get the glue residue off with WD40 or Aftalene, and then just wax over the spot because the wd40 or aftalene will dull the paint in that spot.

Rep Power: 0 Yeah I work at a dealership and have to take off tons of those when we make dealer trades. Use a blow dryer and heat it up. If you are worried about being burnt you CAN use a razor blade but be really careful and just use it to peel off an edge!!! Once you get it off, if there is still sticky crap on it jus use wax and tar remover and you will be good to go

Rep Power: 0 Yeah Blow dryer will do. then just peel it off. Try windex or adhesive remover to remove the sticky substance then be sure to Wax it but its better to use Polish Cuz polish can clean your paint. By removing a very thin portion of the upper layer of your paint.

Rep Power: 0 for further referense...Wallmart sells a product called vinyl-off which eats the glue away and makes the sticker just fall off...It is completely safe on the paint just wax the area afterwards.

Rep Power: 0 My friend used that Orange Solvent stuff and it took all the ugly adhesive off right away. Thank god my dealer didn't put any of his crappy decals on my car. He just puts license plate frames on, which I removed of course...
