hey, my ventshade is coming loose on my passenger side. i have tried using the 3M mounting tape you can buy at autozone but it came loose again. where can i buy the tape or whatever is used to hold it on in the first place? these were already installed when i bought the car so i have no idea where to look. thanks.

are you using rubbing alcohol to clean the area before mounting it again?

yeah i scraped the old adhesive off and used alcohol to clean it up. i used a different type of tape than what was already on there. in a week it was loose flapping in the breeze.

Yeah, when i bought mine i painted them, then stripped the paint and the adhesive off, and had to go buy new stuff. There are 2 different ones 3m makes, one is a lot better than the other. I bought the wrong stuff the first time, but dont remember what exactly the difference was.......try something else........???
