ya stupid me. i was bringing some used oil to my work and i didnt put the bottles in a bag. long story short some oil spilled on the carpet in the trunk. any ideas on how to clean the mess i made. or would it be best to replace the carpet.

Rep Power: 787 Yeah throw it in the washer, and then throw it in the trash. The washer won't get the oil out, but it will make it all fuzzy and ruined.
Try to find some lifter1 stain remover in a spray can. Spray that, let it sit for a bit, and then wipe it with some paper towels. It'll come right off.
