Exclamation Water spots on Polished CAI

Does anyone else have water spots form on their polished Cold Air Intake? I dunno how to get them off. Anyone know of anything that would work? It's really killin the look of my engine bay. When people wanna look at my CAI i always feel like i'm at a show with water spots all over my car!

Some help, plz!

Ps- i tried to do some searching and didn't find any threads with this question.

Try a window cleaner like zep or sprayway.

Windex bro... it really does work. Also, Brasso keeps it nice and clean once a month then touch up with the Windex.

i'm not sure if i am spelling this right but all the guys in my cc use a product called weinol about once a month it makes polished aluminum look like chrome really good stuff you can use it on all metal surfaces including chrome aluminum and anodized you would think you were looking into a mirror and it works really well when used on rims that have any kind of stain on them

Actually hoousehold vinegar works real well and is VERY inexpensive. You can use products such as Mothers metal polish etc but start wit the vinegar first. Because vinegar is 5% acidic after you remove the water spots you should rinse well and then of course dry.
