Rep Power: 0 Fixing Area Surrounding HU
Hey,
I was removing my center console and had issues putting it back in. I accidently scratched the black area surrounding the head unit (The part with the AC, Defrost, etc buttons). There are about four marks about an inch long. Does anyone know how I can repair that? It doesn't go in too deep but its deep enough to be very noticable and annoying to me. Some type of compound filler or something to wipe over it.
Thanks,
MoniraInc

Rep Power: 0 If you fill it you will just see the filling. If the scratches are not that deep you may be able to wet sand them out. Try a spot not noticable first though. If they are too deep, fill it and paint it would be about your only option besides getting a new one.

Rep Power: 0 ebay.com you can always get one of those dash trims =]
i have the silver cf dash, depending where the scratches are, they wont be visible because the kit will go over them.

I was planning on getting CF or Silver sometime in the future when I had some extra change but as of now...trying to see what I could do.
