Hey everyone, im fixing to repaint a new spark plug cover because my original was painted very poorly. I am going to use plastikote Nissan red to match the rest of the pieces in my engine bay. Does anyone know of a good primer that I can use. Originally I have been using the plastikote sandable primer, but it can be a pain to sand everything smooth. I need something that does not need to be sanded and will stick well to plastic. THanks.

As far as I know, all primer has to be sanded to get a smooth coat. You could paint w/o sanding, but it won't be as smooth.
