MEGUIARS TECH WAX new 04'
i was walking around target to buy some vacuum bags.
then found my way to the car section, i couldnt help it to notice that meguiars has a new product.
i purchased it and used it today.
its a spray wax, leaves no streaks or swirls and goes on clear.
it is a great product!!!! good as waxing.

I wouldnt use a spray wax if that is the only wax you are planning on using. Spray wax does not last as long as regular cream wax or paste wax....

Just don't let any dry on your car; that spray wax doesn't seem forgiving. My little bro bought a bottle and put it on his car (as the sun went down). He missed a couple of spots and it hazed really bad on his bumper and hood. It looked like the thing was swirled really bad. Not even Quick Detailer would take off the stuff. I had to go at it with my buffer to fix it.

Was he by chance waxing outside in the sun? I for one have used Meguiars and will only use Meguiars. I picked upo the NXT protectant, spray wax and liquid wax and i love it. I wouldnt use the spray wax unless the car has previously been waxed the wash before. The liquid lasts longer but i have had nothing but good experience with Meguiars products

RedDragon333 - No, he waxed it in the garage. The problem was that when he pulled it out, it was already dark and that's why he missed wiping off some spots. I did try some on a little piece of his bumper, and even after 30 seconds or so, that stuff was hard to wipe off. Maybe we just got a bad bottle. I dunno...

All i know is that i tried it on my car and it was great. Maybe he used too much. I know that when you apply too much wax it has a tendency to get extrmemly hard to wipe off without leaving some excess smudge marks. He might want to try apply a little less and see if that works. I also know that if the towel or whatever your using (i use microfiber) gets too much wax on it it can smudge as well. JUst some suggesstions bro.
