meguiars gold class...really good shine and good price..a good wax to use is KIT-pure carnuba wax from pepboys or something...gotta love the smoothness you get from that and you cant beat the price..

I used to use Meguiar's hi tech yellow wax but recently switched to KIT wax. It's alot easier to wipe off, and it lasts up to a year. The other wax couldn't do this.

I can't bring myself to pay $32 for P21S (yet...), for now I'll stick with Gold Class. I still want to try NXT Tech though.

if you get s100 which is geared towards motorcycles, you can get it for under $20. s100 and p21s are exactly the same, trust me. you can pick up s100 wax at a local harley davidson dealer. I had my s100 wax since i bought my car in june and after 8 month still have 3/4 of the wax remainging. This is doing 1 application per month, this stuff lasts as long as it is not applied heavy. s1

Wow, I learn something new everyday. There's a Harley dealer nearby so I'll definitely check it out. I just got a Porter Cable 7424, so I'm in my experimental phase with waxes, polishes, etc... Thanks for the info.

the can is small so it is hard to apply by pc (porter cable). what some ppl do is take a putty knife and apply to the pc's applicator pad. the only problem with that method is it wastes alot of product s100/p21s is so easy to use, you can apply it to the whole car and remove in under 15 minutes doing a good job by hand. thin coats and dont reapply to same area, i apply to one panel and then remove w/ microfiber. s100/p21S is so easy to use, i know of a few ppl who apply it every week.

I use Meguiar's Medallion Premium Paint Protection. It gives a nice deep gloss, but it doesn't last too long. After a couple of washes, water no longer beads.

I'm going to try Klasse AIO and SG. This combo should last a few months.

I heard that the P21S wax is a good topper for the Klasse SG.

I clay my car when I start to feel the contaminants building up.

Then I use Meguiar's #9 Swirl Remover. Medallion Premium Paint Cleaner is used if "your paint is dull, or has deep swirls":
http://www.properautocare.com/megsno9swirr.html

Then I apply my wax.

I use a PC 7424 for the #9, and wax application.

I don't really see the necessity of this clay applicator pad, it looks
kinda nuts!:
http://www.properautocare.com/popadclap.html
I think it's good to use the clay by hand and clean it (fold it) often. It's
a new item, so maybe I shouldn't knock it till I try it!

I use Mothers Pure Carnauba Wax... I want to use Meguiars Gold Class, but I want something which will stay around in the winter, which I have heard the Meguiars Gold class is a softer wax and won't stay around for a month, and in the winter months, I can't wax due to constant sub-zero temperatures. I'm planning on getting a better wax which has shinier compounds in it, but I would need to make sure it is compatible with my surface which has the Mothers wax already on it.
