Order of Steps in polishing/Claying Waxing -- Post Your Steps
Okay. i went to autozone today. I got Clay Magic Clay bar and spray. I got Meguairs 3 step. THen i bought a bottle of meguiars show car glaze # 7, and a tub of Mirror Glaze hi tech yellow # 26. In what order, or when shouild i use all this stuff... List what i shiould do.

wash the car and use the clay bar to wipe off all of the crud then used the show car glaze to bring out the shine and use the #26 to protect it.
1. wash and dry car very thoroughly. (make sure you get ALL the dirt, bug, tar, etc... off!)
2. look to see if you gotten everything in washing. (if you didn't, use a WET towel with a little bit of car soap and some bug & tar remover if needed and gently wipe away)
3. next...use clay bar and spray. spray a good amount on the car, as well as on the clay bar and do little sections at a time (up and down, not in circles), and look/feel for smoothness and contaminants (black dots, etc..) wipe away excess with microfiber towel/terry cloth.
3. finally....use wax of your choice. also, do little sections at a time. make sure you wipe away all the wax (look at it from an angle), and also make sure you get in the little crevices. otherwise, it will harden and you'll see some dried wax/paste.
sometimes i do things in different order, depending on the situation of my car. but you get the idea.
