D17a?
Re: D17a?
I've reset the ECU, cleared the codes and that's it.
No I don't believe I have.

Re: D17a?
Anyways check engine light is on but it only pulls up as O2 sensor but, when I first scanned the car ever it was reading a "Barometric pressure sensor".
Have you checked the timing belt yet? Did it jump time?

P1106
Do you have access to a scanner that displays live operating data?
Compare the values of MAP and BARO with the engine off, they should match.
You might swap in your original MAP sensor and see what happens.
Make sure the intake system, breather, tubing, etc are all completely clear and unrestricted.
I didn't mess with the timing at all when I got this engine.
(I started out thinking maybe it had jumped time, but now......)

what about the O2 sensor code you mentioned?

Re: D17a?
O2 sensor is the bank 1. One that goes into the catalyst.
The definition of the fault code number will tell me what I want to know.
what do you mean by "values"? Like the voltage reading that shows up on the live data?
With the engine OFF, both MAP and BARO should read exactly the same.
pulled off the top timing cover when I first got the motor to make sure everything is okay
Any other sensor readings screwy?
Compression test?
Ground wires all clean/tight? None forgotten?
Alternator bolts tight?

FAULT CODE NUMBER.
The definition of the fault code number will tell me what I want to know.Yes..
With the engine OFF, both MAP and BARO should read exactly the same.So.....You don't know if it is correctly timed now.

Re: D17a?
Well I'm getting a P0131 and I changed out my fuel pressure regulator cause I was getting gas spitting from my exhaust pipe and my sparkplugs with blackened. It made the car run a little bit better but it's still running like ****. Sputtering when you go at idle still revs up slow though. No idea where to start next.

Re: D17a?
Nope haven't checked it. Gonna check it tomorrow with a timing light.
I'll do that and then I'll go get 2 O2 sensors.
Re: D17a?
Unplugged the O2 sensor (Bank 1) and it sputtered for a bit and then it turned over and it idled fine!
