Choosing a wastegate

Someone fill me in. Suppose I got a TiAL 35mm wastegate, they say that you should get a spring a little lower (few psi) then what you plan on running. That way you can use the boost controller to fine tune it. So if I plan on running any where from 5-8psi, what spring would I get? They offer these 2: .3Bar (4.35psi), .45Bar (6.53 psi), which would be of any interest to me. I assume I should use the .3 bar, but is that still going to be ok to use around 7-8psi without having to change out the spring to a .45bar?
