Question Turbo

I know this subject may have already come up before, but does anyone know when or who might be coming out with a turbo kit for the 7th gen's?? I know you can get a custom turbo, but those tend to run on the more expensive side. Just wondering if anyone knows anything don't leave me in the dark, I wanna give my car that extra edge with this 2 grand laying around!

Thanks, RiceRocketeer

You couldn't even get a kit for $2K. Its gonna be around $3500 for a kit when they do come out. Companies should be releasing them at the end of the summer.

That's what a lot of companies have been saying. But who really knows. Don't be surprised if we have at least 2 kits out for our cars by the end of the year.

This is true, there even a 7th gen civic on the forum that has the turbo in the civic already. To tell you the truth I forgot the name of the person. But it pushing out 207HP (not to the wheel) with 8 pounds of boost.

im glad someone believes me, its costs round 4000 and then the install price, like 500 and thatds for the whole kit w/ intercooler, blow off valve, gauges and more, later, when i get it in ill post pictures and dyno tests results. I think its special ordered from turbonetics because its not on the site or the site is hard to navigate through..

= 4000 you can get one and thatds for the T4 turbo i think after install it willbe like 250-60 hp so hope this helps, but their site it sucks and i dont like turbo-performance either, later

how much psi can the stock engine take?

I was wondering how much psi can the civic engine take. I've asked some people and they told me that civic can only go up to like 4-5 psi or something. Is this true?

I emailed cybernations asking them if they would tackle trying to out together a turbo for our cars and this is what they said, "Have on being fitted with the kit right this second in our shop. Check
our site in a few days to check it out, or give me a call."

I don't think that it will produce that much HP, with 8 pounds of boost it should be around 210 the most! But I could be wrong, but I swear I say that on a dyno sheet.

well generally, and turbo that you put on a civic will take more time for the turbo to build it psi, but yeah i heard that greddy does take longer for other automobiles.

Yes it will take more than 8psi to get to 250ish. Hell the kits that are out for the EP at 4psi pushes 205 whp. At 8 it pushes 250ish whp.
