Rep Power: 272 FYI: Engine Management Calibrations (D17 & K20/K24)
I kinda got tired of people asking me for different calibrations and where can i find it and so forth and so forth.
Make sure you ACTUALLY READ the following before using any of these calibrations.
DISCLAIMER
Remember that no two engines are exactly the same. There will however be subtle differences (very Little in most cases). Keep this in mind when using another persons calibration that is was specifically tuned for there car and there car alone. Using a calibration made for another car is only to help get you in the GENERAL ballpark of getting your car tuned. Just know that it is still recommended that you get you car properly tuned.
Please note that there can be many variations in the location of the tune. Anything from elevation, to the temperature of the day, the humidity and so forth.
Again please note that the types of aftermarket parts used can also have very subtle differences.
I would also like to state that 7thgencivic.com and/or its members posting the calibration cannot and will not be held responsible for any damage that may occur to your engine, car and engine management
with this in mind ALWAYS remember to always datalog a new tune and stop if anything looks out of the ordinary "i cant stress this enough".
------------------------------------------------------------------
PLEASE FOLLOW the format below so that all we have here are calibrations "no chit-chat" and take that somewhere else.
Datalogs and Calibrations should and only be posted here in this thread so that way you can get good help when having a tuning issue
Follow this format when posting a calibration and/or datalog. Copy and paste if you have to.
calibration for: (ex. kpro, aem, emangage)
software/version: (ex. kmanager 1.2.1.8)
user: (your 7thgen user name)
engine type: (ex. d17a1, d17a2, d17a1 w/ a2 head, k20a, k20a2, k24)
injector size: (ex. 320cc)
all motor/turbo/SC:
boost level: (ex. 12 on low boost. 20 on hi boost)
tuned by: (name of the shop)
dyno type: (type of dyno you tuned on)
dyno temp: (tempertaure the day of the dyno)
fuel type: (ex. 87, 89, 91, 94, 100)
mods: (type of mod and brand name if any)
so in this case here is an example post of what it would look like.
calibration for: Kpro
software/version: kmanager 1.2.1.8
user: xprouctionz
engine type: K20a
injector size: 310cc
all motor/turbo/SC: All Motor
boost level: N/A
tuned by: LDL Speedshop
dyno type: mustang dyno
dyno temp: 85
fuel type: 94 octane
mods: custom intake, DC Race headers, Custom 2.5 Exhaust
ALSO. Dont forget to post your calibration using the "MANAGE ATTACHMENTS" button down below. Dont see it? Click on the "GO ADVANCED" button and you should see it from there. You will also need a utility tool that can ZIP your files up. Note that they have to be smaller than 100KB.

Rep Power: 277 finally my original kalibration off the dyno and my tweaked settings version. comments welcome.
calibration for: KPRO
software/version: kmanager v1.2.2.1
user: kornsined
engine type: k20a3
injector size: 650cc
all motor/turbo/SC: Greddy Turbo w/FMIC and 3" catless exhaust
boost level: 7psi max according to kmanager.
tuned by: APex Modified, Edmonton, AB
dyno type: Dynojet
dyno temp: Unknown (most likely temp indicated in dyno graph in sig)
fuel type: Shell V-power (91)
mods: RSX spec k20a3 *not for use with Civic a3 engine* RSX spec has a different intake manifold.
*note: Original tune has 630cc injectors. For whatever reason that's the tune that my car had exactly from the dyno.

so this thread wants people to post their calibration files of which hundreds to thousands of dollars were spent to get these files to work?

basically, cuz if u spend thousands of dollars u get a sweet tune, if i use ur tune, im getting a rough basemap which to spend thousands of dollars perfecting
Anyone have a emanage blue tune for the d17 no-vtec at 8psi? would be much appreciated!
Sweet thread BTW

thousands of dollars??... i'd like to know what tuner you go to that charges thousands of dollars to tune a car...
just because you supposedly spend thousands of dollars to tune YOUR car with YOUR setup doesnt mean that same tune will work for the next guy.
If your tunes and boosted with a dezod turbo kit pushing 7lbs doesnt mean the same tune will work for an SF kit running 7lbs of boost.
Even if 2 people have the same car with the same motor with the same setup. The 2 tune maps will be different. Especially in different areas. Elevation, humidity, air temp and others all have important factors. Let say you tune your car in cali and moved to seattle. That tune you know have in your car is useless. Your car is now out of tune and needs to be retuned. Sharing of maps with other people gets your car closer where you need to be. BUT you still need to tune the car regardless.

6 hours of straight tuning....times 150/hr equals 900 bucks. so if u can take a newly built engine that hasnt even gotten 2 miles on it yet, tune it with the base map of the AEM as the starting point and get it running well enough to drive 150 miles home for even half that let me know!

FYI, most of these calibrations can be downloaded by going to hondata's website, downloading k manager (or updating to the most current version) and just click the open icon in the menu and it will give you a listing of all of hondata's maps.

Anyways i got over 50 calibrations of peoples car that we dynoed sitting on my laptop so i thought i would get these out of the way first..
Plus since nobody else is adding to this thread besides me i dont see what your complaining about.. lol.. Figure i try to put as much calibration on here as much as possible so people dont have to ask about it or go searching for it..
