Vafc Ii
I have been reading up on the vafc 2 and noticed people with 03+ cant really gain anything from this. I have a 04 ex is it worth buying? With just bolt ons!! I heard gearbox had some info on this, help me again bro!!!

You can pull a little bit more power out with it. I have an 02 EX and with I/H/E and a Vafc-ii, I put down 123/116. If you are looking for big power gains then the vafc-ii isnt what your looking for. All it really does is allow you to hear the vtec kick in louder. But if you go nitrous or turbo then it might not be such a bad thing to have.

I too heard more there is more benifets tuning the 02 EX also...
dont know why tho...
they should be the same ECU's.
I think they just changed a few things up with the 03-05.

Rep Power: 241 ok so does anybody here have a VAFC on their 04-05? and does it really make your VTEC kick in louder? cause seriously i've never heard my D17 even initiates the VTEC...

Rep Power: 0 you cant really hear your vtec engaging because we have a sohc. if you hop in a civic SI or a rsx or just any car with a dohc vtec you will notice the vtec engaging because yea...it screams. pretty cool sound.
but anyways...ive always wanted a vafc2. ill probably get one soon because im getting a stage 1 camshaft. yes just a stage 1 camshaft. i dont feel like wasting too much money on getting a stage 2. but like they said...it will squeeze out a little power. dont really know about the whole " making your vtec louder " thing though. we'll see.

As for the vids... (long story short)
we didnt format the camera correctly so after
we edited it all the vids wouldnt play.
GAY GAY GAY!!!
Ill be installing a new tranny soon tho,
and Ill have quarter mile times for my car,
with a 7lbs flywheel, stage one clutch, and a tuned VAFC2.
Then the stage two cam and Ill call it a day.
