Steering problem

My 03 civic power steering seems to give out for a few second when I'm stopped for awhile then move. It don't happen all the time but its annoying idk if my pumps goin or something else.

Theres no whinning and the fluid is OK but I'm not sure of the color ill check after work

The pump could be going out. Try waiting until you have the hard spot, then rev the engine a little.... does it get easier? If you have fluid and correct level, and the pump isn't making a "whirring" noise, then the pump is probably on its way out.
