We're going to need a bit more/specific information

What was involved in the overhaul? Complete engine/tranny teardown?
What do you mean by "drive not working"? Is it not starting, not turning on, can't move the shift lever, you put the car in drive and it revs like its in neutral (assuming it's an automatic transmission)?
