I'm unclear is this a Japanese made car for the US or is it a us made car? Vin starts with a j ( j- p ish vin is asia) so I'm wondering if I can put a new jdm trans in it and it will be okay. I've read a lot of problems with shifting in 3rd gear as well as cel for solonoid codes with jdm trans on u.s. car. What am I looking at?
