D light keeps blinking and the car is having acceleration problems at the beginning

I would look at replacing the clip. If not that, check the basics i.e fluid level/quality.

how do I replace the clip without having to replace the whole harness

You can buy the clip with 2" long wires that you splice in....
or go to a junkyard and cut one off yourself

is there a video on this I can go by. And would over fill of transmission oil be the problem?
does the fluid have to be pperfect in between the line of the transmission dip stick

It's crimping 2 wires, if you can't figure this out maybe stop working on cars...
and yes too much fluid can cause problems
