trans

I did a complete motor and trans swap 2004 civic to 2003 motor runs great trans works great check engine lite is on says trans failure what do i do to make it go off neds to pass smog test HELP PLEASE P.S. the 2004 civic only had 40,000 miles on it no problem with motor or transmission

main shift speed sensor failed dont know where it is on the trans and gear rato wrong ? just 2 codes dont have the # is at the shop we are in Sonoma County Ca.
