2003 honda civic Transmission not shifting.

My 2003 Honda Civic with manual transmission stopped shifting when I push on the clutch pedal. I now have to force it when changing gears. This started almost instantly. It was shifting very smooth and easy before that. The clutch still disengages the transmission when I stop. Can someone give me an Idea of what might be wrong and what to look for first. I would appreciate any advise.

Check clutch fluid
Check shifter linkages/cables

Does it shift with the engine turned off and the front wheels raised off the ground?

Re: 2003 honda civic Transmission not shifting.

I did add some clutch fuid which was a little low. That seems to have resolved the issue. I will watch for leaks. Thank you
