Can you turn off the Auto Lock Feature on 2003 Civic lx
Just got a 2003 civic lx off a friend. Original fob key doesnt work so im trying to pair a replacement fob. Ive seen a bunch of videos on how to pair the replacements but all those people dont seem to have this auto lock feature that i think is interfering with the pairing. Not sure im digging the feature anyway. is it possible to disable it? Thanks!

I don't think that's a factory option, because my '01 didn't have auto lock. I'm pretty sure it was introduced in the 2006 model.

Awe shoot, i was hoping that wasn’t the case. I saw a similar comment on a YouTube video where someone else had a 2003 civic lx with the same problem so i thought it could be normal. Any way I can figure out what kind of alarm it is? And thanks for the response
