Cruise Control light is always on

So after replacing dash light bulbs, I noticed this blue 'cruise control' indicator's always on.

I tried pressing and depressing the main switch on/off multiple times with no joy, and the light from the button's always off (maybe bulb's gone?).

I don't really feel anything weird when I'm driving to tell if the cruise control's stuck on... but then I also never used cruise controls from any of my cars.

Is there anyway I can just completely disable cruise control system so that I don't have to worry about this?

What indicator? In the cluster or on the switch? Pic?

If you're talking about the main switch pull it out and unplug it.

Only blue indicator light in the dash is the High Beam indicator. Probably related to the DRL or if you have aftermarket LED or HID bulbs installed.

Right next to washer fluid level light(this one also always stays on), there's blue 'cruise control' indicator.

That stays on start to finish, and the cruise control switch next to mirror controls are not doing anything to get that light off.

No aftermarket headlight bulbs installed.

Light might be bleeding through from a different bulb

What happens if you actually set the cruise? Does it get brighter? Kind of liking what Colin said.

You can try removing the cruise control light bulb.

Yep, tried cruise control and it actually lights up green, faint blue when off.

It feels weird when my car accels itself..

Glad you got it figured out
I love cruise, I even use it in town to help me not speed. Don't really use the accelerate function though

Thanks Colin
The car just downshifts and goes ham until it reaches the set speed, but kinda like how it steadily maintains RPM when on set speed.
Assume it's good for engine and fuel eco.
