I have a 2005 es Civic and the instrument cluster stops working intermittently, any suggestions appreciated

What specifically stops working? Just a couple gauges/lights or the entire thing?

First place I would check would be the connections to the cluster. It's real easy to pull out and check.

We see loose alternator mounting bolts cause clusters to act funny all the time, usually it's not the whole cluster though.
