issues after swap
issues after swap
I’ve been wanting to make some tutorials for EM2 repairs and/or mods. I’m a 20 year journeyman technician with a 7th generation that I’ve loved for a decade and my apprentice is an EM2 kid as well so we are always working on our 7th gens together. If anyone out there has any requests for tutorials that would be helpful let me know.
I'm posting a picture of this particular sensor. I just want my engine in my 02 Honda civic. A d17a1 came out and I put in a d17a.
I saw on YouTube a guy did a swap and he mentioned that these switches would need to be replaced or updated so to speak.
My swamp went great. It was my first. However when it crank and started it revs up and down up and down up and down. Everything seems to be working okay. And then all of a sudden it started sputtering sort of like bad timing I don't know. But then it went back to the up down up down up down.
The picture I posted that sensor is not connected to anything it's just the female connector on a bracket below it. Do I need to find a way to plug that up or maybe do something different?
As a side note I'm sitting in the squeltering hot South Georgia Sun greezy.
