Looking to see where the one wire goes that isn’t connected to the throttle with the weight at the end

Re: Throttle body

got a pic? If you have cruise control, You'll have 2 throttle control wires (steel wires with those "weights" on them), one that's connected to the gas pedal, one that's connected to the cruise module

Re: Throttle body

trace it back, should go to the cruise module (upper aft firewall, passenger-side ish side). There should be a 2nd spot on the throttle body rotor for it to sit. It's been a minute since I've messed with a D17A2 throttle body, but the brass part of the rotor should be for the gas pedal throttle cable, the black part of the rotor should be for cruise.

I’m looking for a picture because I’m tired and don’t know what your just saying.
yeah that’s not the one I already connected that one . This one goes right next to the one behind it I just can’t remember exactly how it fit.

Re: Throttle body

I really don't wanna sound like a dick, but my explanation was pretty straightforward. The colors of the TB rotor might not be correct (since it'd been 4 years since I dicked around with a D17), but the info about what that cable does is still good. If you're that tired, get some rest then tackle it when you're refreshed. You're gonna do more harm than good under your hood if you're too tired to figure out my post.
