Question dome lights and remote wont work when car is off?

ill try to explain as best as i can so please bare with me. ok, i had just recently put in a flip out screen in my car and a pair of m3 mirrors. so anyways i had to pull out the drivers seat so i could install the brain. then after that i pulled to door panels out, installed them and put them back in. now when everything was done, i had noticed that my srs light was on. so i did that rest thing that was on here and it was fixed, then as i was about to go inside i tried locking the car with the remote and nothing happened...so i checked the batt on the remote and it seems good because the little red light is on and is bright and not dull like it was dieing, so i go to the car to lock it manualy and i noticed that my dome lights dont turn on when i open the door, but they work when i switch it over to on and not the middle possition. so maybe you guys could help me out? i dont really know what is wrong with it and i dont want to take it to the dealer since this car has only 12k milles on it and im the second owner so i dont think i got any warrenty on it anymore...but any help would be very greatfull! thanks in advance!

Fuses to check:
Underhood Fuse Box (Passenger side of engine compartment, near strut tower)
Fuse 2 15A
Fuse 9 10A

Underdash Fuse Box (Under driver's side of dash)
Fuse 10 7.5A
Fuse 15 2A
Fuse 20 20A

You may have these fuses if your keyless was installed at the dealer:
(Under driver's side of dash, I don't think it's in under dash fuse box but separate from it)
Keyless Fuse 1 2A
Keyless Fuse 2 2A

If none of these fuses are blown, go through and check all your electronics to see if anything else isn't working and reply with that info and year, level of trim, and body style of your vic.

No prob, I have seen blown (and partially blown) fuses cause some very unusual problems. Glad to hear you got it working.
