So I'm not a car guy but I was just wondering if the service advisor I talked to is dishonest and stretching the truth.

I have a civic 2019, it's in great condition.
The last time I changed my break fluids was about 2 years ago, and from what I understand the recommended frequency by the book is 3 years or some x km's

So I'm sitting down with this very aggressive service advisor a few days ago and he recommends that I get my break fluids done. I told him it's not something remotely recommended yet.
This is what he said.

"It's better to change the break fluids more frequently because of the electronics onboard"

Is there any truth to this statement or he is he talking out of his *** pretending to be a mechanic? I have some complaints for the service center and I'm just trying to understand if there was any ounce of truth in my interaction with him.
