So here are my two cents on the keys to tonights game.

1) Taking it to them early. This is something that the Canucks did very well in game two and definately lacked in game one (along with alot of other things).

They took the body to the Blues real early, and set the tone for the game, the puck was in the St. Louis end for the majority of the first period due to hard work and big hitting. This was not only highlighted by the large hit on McInnis, but the work was rewarded by a nice goal by Trent Klatt.

2) Bertuzzi (Big Bert)! What can you say about this guy, you gotta love the way he plays the game. Regardless of the fact that he did not score in game two, he was a pivotal key in the game. Constantly reaking havoc for the Blues defense, they not only had to contain him defensively, but had to worry about him hurling his body at them any chance he got. Good game by him.

3) The big line. I feel that this line still needs to click in the playoffs. Especially Naslund. I love how he plays, but feel he is still trying to do too much, he needs to relax and play the game he is used to. If both Naslund and Morrison can get the scoring touch back, Bertuzzi always follows suit, and it won't matter how well the defense plays when our offense dominates the game.

4) Most important of them all. CLOUTIER. He was amazing last game, and needs to continue this. If he plays like that it spurs on the team, and they will only feed off of his energy.

1. Hit hard and hit lots.. from opening face off to the thirs period Buzzer...
2. EVERYONE HITS.. YES the Sedins too..
3. Cloutier is key
4. Defence is KEY.. StL has great penetration in our zone.. once in.. D has to do their jobs..

If #1 #2 are done.. the shots come naturally.

Keep in mind... Al Mac is out... Pronger is still hurt.. Osgood can be solved, how? lots of shots.. duh...

5:30... can't miss this game.

Tonight we will find out what the canucks are made of. We all know that the Blues are going to come out flying (since they are infront of the hometown crowd), hopefully the nucks will be flying and crashing blues players too!!!
